Description
b) nanotextures is a generative abstract animation designed for use as a real-time visual score. It was created as part of HEARIMPROV, an experimental audiovisual concert by artist Adinda van ‘t Klooster that visualised sound for people interested in improvisation and audiovisual media, and who had hearing difficulties. At a concert held at Sage Gateshead, a group of musicians from different backgrounds improvised to a range of visual scores rather than notated ones. The sound/music created was then translated into visual data by live spectrograms.
