AUDIOVISUAL POEM is a quadrophonic electroacoustic composition which has a fixed structure, but for which nevertheless some events can be changed in real-time, allowing for diverse possibilities through the performance. This changes are not casual or spontaneous, and instead, are part of the planning, as the computer has all possibilities for change already saved, and therefore, the improvisation character of the piece is reduced to the selection of one or the other already planned section.
The audio materials are based on the human voice and body sounds whilst the video parts consist on close-up images of different surfaces. The performance is mainly inspired by Sound Poetry.
