At the beginning of the 90s, Quarxs was the very first 3D graphics HD TV series widely awarded as a pioneer TV program. Conceived in collaboration with comics author Francois Schuiten and Benoît Peeters, it has become a reference in the history of computer animation. Here Quarxs are presented in its original cultural context in the 90s with original drawings by François Schuiten. “Animamix Biennale 2015-16”, The major regional event in Asia, includes participations by South Korea, Shanghai and Hong Kong artists. The exhibition in Hong Kong under the theme “POST PiXEL.” showcased works of new media and installations by 8 leading and emerging artists from Hong Kong.
