Description
Eve is about the process of how identity is generated. It is an ongoing attempt to reclaim and deconstruct identity. It is about the state of being and the sense of time. The piece is generated in realtime to create a dynamic hybrid image. This code-based practice constantly evolves and mutates the image, thus creating an ambiguous condition.

Using real, and glamorous portraits of top Israeli models, Eve is a creation of something else - a face that does not really exist in reality outside of the piece. The piece flows between universal concepts, such as human-machine relationships in the post-digital era, processes, and appearances vs. disappearances.... to the local concepts of the Israeli / Jewish society, and its complexity.

The program creates a unique moment out of a heterogenous group of beautiful Israeli women – each one with her own and unique in origin, skin color, and age. Eve evolves in relation to the others and produces a face of the a new hybrid possible future.
