On a large white platform, the artist has arranged the typical Christmas scenario of his parents’ home: the family members, furniture and carpet from the living room, Christmas decorations, presents, and letters from family members. The annual ritual of the traditional Christmas Eve is put on display. The father reads the Christmas story aloud, the mother shares excerpts of the letters, the sister plays Christmas songs on the French horn, and the family sings carols together.
