Perfume Organ

Description
The monumental perfume organ represents a meaningful analogy between musical and olfactory compositions. Its purpose is to demonstrate how, point by point, the scent becomes a kind of oflactif weapon which, with its made to measure smells, manipulate crowds, as well as individuals.
Given her leitmotif of making the invisible visible, the installation represents a symbolic confrontation of video art with an impressive glass structure. While exploring the sociological, semiological and even linguistic dimensions of this exceptional fragrance, Olga Kisseleva was intent on evoking the implicit power of perfume and giving material form to its suggestive energy, femininity and sensuality.
This work was realised in collaboration with perfume creator François Demachy.
