Western China International Art Biennale is the most comprehensive academic and artistic exhibition ever held in the west of China. Western China International Art Biennale is supported by the Yinchuan municipal government, the cultural department of eight provinces (autonomous regions) in Western China, 9 foreign embassies, domestic and overseas artists.
About 50 artworks including paintings, sculptures, photography, image, installation and new media art were shown during the exhibition by renowned artists from e.g. USA, UK, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium and China.
During the Opening Ceremony, there a Contemporary Art Summit Forum was held. Celebrities from Real estate, IT, Finance, Film & TV industries will also participated at the Summit Forum. The Biennale brings a unique artistic experience to every participant and provide a good opportunity for further economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between China and Western countries.
