The founding members of rAndom International: Hannes Koch (b. 1975, Germany), Florian Ortkrass (b. 1975, Germany) and Stuart Wood (b. 1980, UK) met while at Brunel University in 2002 and went on to study together at the Royal College of Art, London. Their work is a convergence of science, art and design. rAndom International have won various awards, including the iF Design Award 2005 and 2006 and the Wallpaper* Design Award 2006. Their work has been shown in Tate Modern and the V&A. rAndom was recently awarded an Honourable Mention in the Interactive Art category of the Prix Ars Electronica 2009.
