Mobilise/Demobilise is a critical and artistic response to a world of increasing conflict, crisis and emergency, explored through a series of online performances. It is a creative collaboration between UpStage, Teater Interakt, KiG! (Kultur in Graz) and the Center for the Cultivation of Technology. The partners are collaboratively investigating the theme and have developed a series of interactive online performances, which premiered in the Mobilise/Demobilise festival, October 15-17 2021. Alongside the creative process, the UpStage platform has been “mobilised” – re-engineered to function on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets – and brought up-to-date with current internet technologies.
