Andrea Zapp, born in Germany, is an internationally exhibiting media artist working across many platforms, such as “Networked Installation Stages”, art installations that are mixing and referencing real, virtual and online spaces; “Media, Miniature and Shifting Scales” as another reflective format of installation architecture, and ongoing experiments take media specific research further into “Textile Media and Design”, combining narrative digital imagery and tools, and smart clothing research with fabric print, fashion design, and sculpture. She is currently launching her own fashion, media and design label AZ. Andrea Zapp, at London Fashion week in September 2013. She has edited two books, Networked Narrative Environments as imaginary spaces of being, MMU/FACT Liverpool, 2004; and New Screen Media, Cinema/Art/Narrative, BFI, London, 2002, and has curated large-scale international media arts exhibitions.
