• Researcher of the Interactive Communication Group of DigiDoc, UPF.
• Professor of Interactive Communication and Media Arts: Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication and Master in Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media (CSIM), Pompeu Fabra Univeristy, Barcelona.
My art experiments have been presented at Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB), Fundació Joan Miró (FJM), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (MNCARS), Centro Cultural de Belem, Tate Gallery, Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), National Museum of Photography, Film and Television (NMPFT), Centro Cultural de España en México, Brandts Danmarks Mediemuseum, among others.


Artist’s Statement
If I were asked to define my work in a single word, I would call it interstitial. The concept of interstitial allows me to metaphorically refer to my passion for looking into the cracks and in-between spaces; places in which -in an almost imperceptible way- we can find examples of the fragility and relativity of what we sense, belief, think, do, say, or appear to be.

CV
Artist and researcher in the sphere of interactive communication. His artistic work, characterized by poetic and critical experimentation with digital technology has been exhibited at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea de Barcelona (CCCB), Fundación Joan Miró (FJM), Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (MNCARS), Centro Cultural de Belém, Tate Gallery, Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO), National Museum of Photography, Film and Television (NMPFT), Centro Cultural de España in México (CCEMX), Ex Teresa Arte Actual, Laboratoire Paragraphe Université PARIS 8, Brandts Danmarks Mediemuseum, Centrale Montemartini, among others. Since 1995 he has been a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Communication of the Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF), in Barcelona. Between 2010 and 2015 he was the co-director of the University Masters in Digital Arts, UPF, of which he was one of the founders, in 1995. In these last twenty five years of uninterrupted dedication to art, he has collaborated with dozens of artists, scientists, engineers, institutions and collectives with which he has impulsed some pioneering platforms of electronic art such as Galería virtual (1993-2000) dedicated to the development of virtual reality as an art form, Macba en línea (1995-1997) dedicated to net.art or M.A.L., (2010-2012) a platform dedicated to art on intelligent mobile devices.
