Sophie Hedderwick

I am a multimedia artist, using smart textiles in a digital format, using photography, film and 3D mapping.
I am currently a PhD researcher at Birmingham School of Art, funded by AHRC/M3C.

1986-90: Performer/workshop leader in Touring Theatre Company, UK.
1998-99: RMIT University, Melbourne, Dip. Textiles, High Distinction
2003-17: Artist, exhibiting smart textiles, analogue and digital prints, film and installations worldwide
2013-14: MA Media Art and Philosophy, Birmingham School of Art, BCU, Distinction.
2016-: PhD researcher at Birmingham School of Art, BCU. Funded by AHRC/M3C.
