Jack Holmer and the aesthetic of affect
In search of technological Affective Poetics, the artist wanders the form, trying to visualize that which lacks connection, interaction and support. This happens in the Stratosphere, in Physical Mountains, in Virtual Worlds, and may be manifested phenomenologically in artificial intelligence beings, in digital spaces or in concrete robots. The objects of this poetic affection inhabit these places, being human or non-human, but certain of their own presence and sufficiency of manifestation for what we call for Life. Art becomes the interaction particle between man and the contemporary technological world, its product and interface.
