Beryl Graham is an artist, curator, writer and educator with a special interest in curating and new media art. She is a Research Professor at the University of Sunderland, and co-founder and co-editor of the website CRUMB, Curatorial Resource for Upstart Media Bliss. She is the author of the book Digital Media : Directions in Art (Heinemann, 2003), and co-author with Sarah Cook of Rethinking Curating: Art After New Media (MIT Press, 2010). Her writing includes chapters for Routledge and California University Press and articles in Art Monthly and British Council Magazine. In 1996-97 she curated the seminal exhibition Serious Games at the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle and the Barbican Art Gallery in London.
