Roberto Lopez-Gulliver is a Mexican Media artist and researcher. Received his BSc degree in Mathematics form the Autonomous University of Guadalajara with honors for his thesis work titled: "Bounded Variation Functions: Differenciation and Integration". In 1993, received his MS degree in Computer Science from Ritsumeikan University. In 2006, received his PhD degree in Computer Science from Kobe University. Joined ATR International Research Labs in Kyoto Japan from 1994 to 2006, as Senior Research Engineer and was actively involved in applications to telecomunications of computer graphics, computer vision, image-based rendering and modeling techniques. Lopez-Gulliver is now at NICT Universal Media Research Center as Expert Researcher, his current research topics include, Interactive 3D displays for multi-user interactions, real-time 3D computer graphics and Human-Computer Interaction design.
