Nell Tenhaaf

Nell Tenhaaf is an electronic media artist, writer and educator. Tenhaaf works propose the deconstruction of the mainstream biological discourses and the cultural implications of biotechnologies and Artificial Life. She has exhibited across Canada, in the U.S. and in Europe. Tenhaaf works with sound artist John Kamevaar and artist/electronics designer Nicholas Stedman (since 2003), and computer science researcher Melanie Baljko (since 2004). She has been jury Chair for the Vida and is a Professor in the Visual Arts department of York University in Toronto, Canada.
