Alessio Chierico (Ph.D.) is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher, and lecturer with a background in contemporary art, design theory, and media studies.

Chierico is currently a full professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Frosinone, where he teaches Aesthetics of New Media, Digital Culture, Multimedia Languages, and Media Design. Chierico is also an adjunct professor at Politecnico di Milano, where he teaches the course Trends in Digital Art.

Previously, he taught at the Academies of Fine Arts of Urbino (IT), Reggio Calabria (IT), Macerata (IT), at the Accademia Costume e Moda in Rome (IT), and at the Interface Culture department of the Kunstuniversität Linz (AT). At this last institution, he has also been awarded the titles of Ph.D. and MA.

His doctoral dissertation was honored with the "Award of Excellence," a distinction for the finest works across all disciplines and universities in Austria, bestowed by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
