About

was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1982. He holds a Master's in Arts and Architecture Critics from the Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal under the supervision of Doc Jacinto Teias Lageira and a Bachelor from the Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado FAAP, São Paulo Brazill.

His primary research is in the field of digital media with a special focus on critical media theory, curating and preserving ephemeral and internet-based art . In 2013 he founded alongside Julia Arana the digital art platform Homeostasis Lab; that became a digital cultural space. During 2021 homeostasis lab have changed its functionalities and it is still on the shift to return knowlwdege to soiety by promoting a healthy space for imagetic aprecitaion.

He has done talks and presentations on the topics of internet art at Museu da Imagem e do Som MIS - SP, Centro Cultural São Paulo, Semana de Artes da Faculdade de Belas Artes de São Paulo , EBANX (Curitiba), Casa de Portugal (São Paulo), and over the internet.

In 2017 he curated alongside with Julia Araña the exhibition Homeostase, www.homeostase.art.br that happened at Centro Cultural São Paulo as the official embassy for The Wrong New Digital Art Biennale That commissioned a series of workshops and an artistic residency in partnership with Garagem Fab Lab, impulsing the production of artworks that explores the relation between art, technology and society.

He has developed projects with institutions such as: Centro Cultural São Paulo, Museu da Imagem e do Som de São Paulo (MIS-SP), Instituto Itaú Cultural, Carpe Diem Arte e Pesquisa, Lisboa Portugal, Praça das Artes, among others.
