Tulika Aasma

I am a practicing artist based out of Delhi and Baroda, India. My practice draws from preoccupations with technology and how they play a role in shaping politico-cultural narratives in society. My interests trace back to examining the logics, tools and practices of technical mediums, and how they affect the generation of meanings – as references, archives, as a tool to create, and representations to draw from. Delving into its materiality opens up an approach to engage with questions about narrativity, truth-making and memory. In keeping with these enquiries, my work extends into various forms such as video, sound, performance, drawings and installations.
