Dejan Atanackovic

Dejan Atanacković has presented solo exhibitions, video and audio installations, interventions in public space, as well as curatorial projects, since 1994. His works were exhibited in personal and collective shows in Italy, Serbia, Canada, USA, Slovenia, Bosnia, Albania, Germany, Mexico... He teaches Multimedia / Installation art at the American university program SACI in Florence and other university programs in Florence and Siena. At SACI he leads a project-course Body Archives in collaboration with the Florentine Museums of Natural History. He curated Outside (2005-2010) a program of exchange in art education between Florence and Belgrade, dedicated to the study of cities. In 2009 and 2010 he has led the project Belgrade: Another Gaze, dedicated to the interpretation of the city through the perspective of marginalized groups: alternative guides.
