Katherine Nolan is a contemporary artist who works primarily with video, image and performance. She is also a lecturer, and curates with MART, visual arts organisation. Her work is currently concerned with states of inhabiting the body and processes of becoming. With particular focus on tensions between the experiential and the spectacular body, her work explores gender, identity and desire in the context of digitalization. She has performed and exhibited internationally in Europe, America and Asia. Recent works include Supersatured at Mobius, Boston and Panoply Performance Lab, New York; Peep Hole at Performing Porn, Performance Space ,London. The Fox at Plataforma Revolver, Lisbon.
