    A large air-inflated teardrop hung from a crane and proclaimed the theme of the festival as well as the Javaphile performance Tearfall.
  • Supertube -
    A high volume of air was blown from below into a long open-ended polythene tube caused it to flap around wildly in the sky. Smoke and confetti could be added to the air stream.

  • A computer-programmed lighting installation articulated the neo-classical features of the Felix Meritis building. Transparent acoustic panels allowed the public to listen to music emanating from the walls of the building.
  • Smokescreen -
    In Smokescreen a row of smoke canisters along the whole front side of the Swansea University created a thick smoke-screen behind which the building completely disappeared for a while. Portions of this smoke-screen were white, yellow and black.
  • Slapstick

  • Circular-patterned digitizing of the viewers' movements was conjoined with the static recording of a large souvenir reproduction of the Eiffel Tower. The work uses the same image processing software originally developed for Video Narcissus
  • A city counsil street light repair vehicle was completely covered in tartan printed plastic. It drove nightly through Edinburgh broadcasting traditional bagpipe music and projecting tartan patterns onto the city's buildings. Also presented at
